Photo Tours

Lori Diemer Photo Tours offer photographers the opportunity to experience the joy of traveling for the sole purpose of taking photos.  Lori will guide participants to places she is familiar with, at the best time of year to be there. Unlike traditional photographic workshops, with mid-day lectures and instruction, her tours will emphasize exploring locations with optional instruction “in the field”. Mid-day will find participants downloading images, sharing and critiquing. Lori Diemer Photo Tours are designed for a maximum of 10 participants. A small group size allows for more casual sharing of ideas, tips and tricks amongst one another, and easier access to quaint locations.

These tours are designed specifically for photographers who want a break from the traditional workshop experience. Participants should have a good working knowledge of their camera system, and be comfortable using popular editing, and workflow, software.

"Lori takes exceptionally beautiful macro images, and I learned a lot from her in the field as we spent an hour of concentrated work at one iris bed."   Judy R.

"Lori is one of the most patient photography teachers I have ever met.  She will share ANYTHING she knows openly with all who ask. She is a great trip planner, also. Those two skills together make for a truly unforgettable experience any
time you travel with her".    Michelle D.

"As a photographer, you cannot beat Lori's tours.  Off the beaten path, away from the crowds, technique instruction-it's all there and cannot be surpassed."
 Ginny S.

"Thanks to Lori, I came away with many wonderful images, yet didn't leave feeling exhausted, as I did with other photo tours.  All members of the tour felt relaxed, and received personal attention.  Great Experience! I look forward to the next photo tour."

About your tour leaders:
Lori Diemer is a freelance professional photographer and tour guide from Willoughby, Ohio. Her work has been exhibited regionally and nationally, and is featured in the private collections of Lake Hospital System, The Cleveland State University, and INOVA Healthcare. After nearly 20 years of participating in workshops, tours, and private trips, Lori started leading her own tours on a professional level. Lois Mauro, of Ardmore PA, has a love of photography.  A self-taught artist, her interest turned to passion about 20 years ago.  Looking through the camera lens, she searches to record something she's been drawn to, whether it's a unique composition, the light, or the subject matter.  She has alot of experience photographing different locations around the world, including the Far East and Europe.
Lois's photography has been shown in juried exhibitions, and is in the private collections of numerous businesses and private collectors.  Lois has a Masters in Music, and recently started to teach piano again. To her, photography is another outlet for her creativity.
